Job Title: Trainee Polythene Extrusion Machine Operator
Location: Alfreton, DE55
Starting Salary: approx. £23,660
£8.50ph with night shift rate of £9.00ph (first 40 hours of the working week)
Last 8 hours of every working week is paid at £12.75ph & £13.50ph night shift
Position: Permanent, Full Time – 4 days, 48 hours per week

Job Role:
The company is looking to recruit a Trainee Polythene Extrusion Machine Operator to work as part of a team of five operators who together operate eight machines producing extruded polythene film.
Shifts:
The shift system currently in operation is 4×12 hour day shifts 6am- 6pm Mon- Thurs & 4×12 hour night shifts 6pm-6am Mon- Thurs, alternate weeks.
The starting salary indicated is based on an hourly rate the last eight hours of which are paid at time & one half.
