Job Title: Youth Worker / Keyworker

Location: Bradford

Salary: £18,000 – £22,000 p.a.

Job Type: Part/Full time, Contract

They currently have a number of vacancies in their Children, Young People and Families team.

Key Responsibilities:

Keyworker – Youth Crime and Families

  • Working in a multiagency approach to support a caseload of Children, Young People and Families at risk of or involved in Criminal Activity

Outreach Youth Worker

  • Working across target areas to deliver a late night ‘hot spot’ session and sustained positive activities for young people at risk of or involved in criminal activity

Youth Worker Trusted Relationships

  • An innovative area-based youth work response to prevent young people aged 10-14 becoming involved in exploitation in Bradford East through targeted youth work

Y:Zone Project Support Worker

  • To develop, plan and deliver the Y:Zone project developed by the organisation to support young people aged 6-13 who are experiencing disadvantage as a result of a family separation. The programme delivers three weekly 12 week programmes to support children and young people with their thoughts, feelings and behaviours throughout this difficult transition alongside fun positive activities and holiday schemes

Working Hours:

Keyworker – Youth Crime and Families

  • 5 hours per week (Fixed term until 31st March 2020)

Outreach Youth Worker

  • 16 hours per week (Fixed term until 31st March 2020)

Youth Worker Trusted Relationships

  • 16 hours per week (Fixed term until March 2020 with a 2 year extension subject to funding)

Y:Zone Project Support Worker

  • 16 hours per week (Fixed term until October 2020 subject to future funding)

Salary:

Keyworker – Youth Crime and Families

  • £20,000 – £22,000 per annum

Outreach Youth Worker

  • £18,220 per annum pro rata

Youth Worker Trusted Relationships

  • £19,000 – £21,000 per annum pro rata

Y:Zone Project Support Worker

  • £18,200 per annum pro rata
