Job Title: Financial Services Administrator

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £25,000 – £32,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (Part Time considered as well)

About the Company

We are a boutique financial planning practice providing high level wealth management services to a select portfolio of clients. We approach financial planning by exploring and clarifying our clients’ most profound life objectives and then arranging their financial affairs to support these aspirations using our toolkit of knowledge encompassing tax, investment management and trusts.

We have a small company culture; teamwork is a must as we all play our part in ensuring the smooth running of the office. This can include jobs as diverse as making drinks or changing light bulbs.

We employ staff who are enthusiastic, motivated and have a passion for providing the best possible advice and service to our clients. They are honest, trustworthy and have high ethical values whilst also excelling in their role and still retaining a sense of humour. We need a new member of staff who would enjoy working in this friendly and co-operative team of people.

About you:

We are looking for a hardworking individual, who is self-motivated, ruthlessly organised and meticulous about attention to detail. You need to be able manage and diary your tasks at our busy office, liaise and co-operate well with other staff members but also be capable of working autonomously.

Ideally you would have at least 2 years existing financial services experience and have competence with Voyant and JCS but this is not essential provided you are a quick learner and give 100% to your role.

Maybe you want to take a step back from a more involved financial services role so that you can simply leave work at work once you finish for the day or, perhaps you are returning to work after a career break. If you currently work in administration in another area of business but have an excellent track record in administration then we will consider your application. The financial services industry is booming and we need really good people to join our firm and help with our growth.

Trainees will be considered at a lower salary range commensurate with their knowledge and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide efficient administrative support to both Advisers and Paraplanners
  • Preparing client annual review documents
  • Ensuring appropriate documentation is scanned and attached to the relevant client record
  • Preparation of correspondence including letters and emails
  • Updating Back Office System
  • Preparing Application Forms
  • Assisting with investment fund switches
