Job Title: Head of NNDR, Recovery and Enforcement

Location: Thetford

Salary: £54,613 rising to £61,616 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

About the role:

Based in Thetford, you will support the Head of the Anglia Revenues Partnership (ARP) in the administration of Revenues and Benefits services for 5 councils: Breckland Council, West Suffolk Council, East Cambridgeshire District Council, Fenland District Council and East Suffolk Council. You will also be required to work across all 4 offices including March, Lowestoft and Melton and attend Council meetings at any of the 5 Council’s premises.

You will be instrumental in driving forward key priorities for Council Tax Recovery, National Non-Domestic Rates, Enforcement (including in-house Enforcement Agency, and Fraud and Compliance), and Housing Benefit Overpayment strategy on behalf of the partners and providing sound advice regarding the effective management of resources to facilitate outputs.

About you:

You will have proven experience of managing change and transforming services, focused on developing and improving service delivery, customer journey and programme management.

A strong and effective communicator, you will be responsible for providing effective leadership and operational management to the team, ensuring that staff adopt the values and expected behaviours of ARP and deliver a high-performance culture.

An appropriate qualification such as IRRV and management qualification or well-established management experience is essential. Project management qualification would be an advantage.
