Job Title: Member Relations & Business Services Administrator

Location: London

Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Type: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract (6 Months)

Purpose:

The Member Relations & Business Services Administrator will work closely with both the Head of Member Relations and the Head of Business Services to support them in ensuring that members are aware of and engaging across the trade association’s various programmes and services.

The role will be to support a small but busy team in their day-to-day contact with those members, ensuring that key personnel have access to the website & communications, contact information is kept updated and they have visibility on how their company’s membership is being used. Also, provide administrative support to the Business services function pertaining to document management and account reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

Member Relations

  • Handle general member correspondence; assist new contacts at member companies in setting up their profiles and plugging them into the most relevant programmes and activities
  • Regularly monitor members to ensure that key stakeholders are identified and kept up-to-date including the membership owner, budget holder and most senior contact (if different)
  • Assist the Head of Member Relations in the preparation of key member meeting briefing documents that demonstrates current member usage, renewal information and recommendations for potential areas of engagement
  • Work with the Member Sales Team to ensure the smooth onboarding of new members to ensure that everything is set up correctly to maximise their chances of engaging & remaining in membership. The building of a wide network of contacts within members is key to gaining deep levels of engagement
  • Assist the Head of Member Relations in creating and running the company’s Introduction event

Business Services

  • Draft and maintain monthly review meeting agendas and minutes
  • Creating quotations for escrow account renewals and new accounts
  • Assist in setting up new accounts
  • Co-ordinating with the accounts team and managing internal communications
  • Maintaining ISO Audit documents
  • Drafting and maintaining minutes of meetings for the professional services groups
  • Manage correspondence with the professional services group committees

About you:

Key competencies

  • The appointed person will need to show strong administrative skills and a keen eye for detail
  • They will also need good communication skills, both written and over the telephone as there will be regular contact with members
  • They will also need to be able to multi-task and prioritise work in a busy and fast-moving team

Essential Knowledge and Experience

  • Strong and demonstrable customer engagement experience
  • Experience of working in high performance environments
  • Previous experience working with CRM systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics
  • Strong attention to detail

Desired Knowledge and Experience

  • A knowledge of and interest in the technology sector
  • Demonstrates a broad understanding of the technology industry landscape and the positioning and role of trade bodies

Interviews will take place virtually due to COVID-19.

This is a six-month fixed-term contract, initially home-based and will move to the London offices post-covid.
