Job Title: Sales Account Executive

Location: Chichester

Salary: Up to £24,000 dependent on experience plus paid quarterly commission

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Objectives of the Role:

The successful candidate would be tasked largely with bringing new business into the company using different channels such as company visits, telephone calls and marketing emails to new & existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and visit key accounts to increase lead generation and sales
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with current and new clients
  • Meet personal targets set to increase sales and lead generation
  • Increase outbound sales
  • Calling current and new clients to increase sales
  • Identify new prospects
  • Support marketing activities integrate personal sales efforts with other organised marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing
  • Communicate effectively with the quality and technical team to understand customer requirements
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods
  • To build positive and healthy working relationships with colleagues based on integrity, honesty and mutual respect – This is a small and effective team and this is important

In addition, you may be asked to perform other duties by your line manager or other senior management, as required by the needs of the business

Key Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both over the phone and by e-mail
  • Strong existing sales skill set
  • Experience with using a CRM
  • Being a motivated and proactive person with a great attitude towards self-development and success
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own day
  • Ability to give feedback on current processes
  • Ability to use sound judgement as to when to refer to others in the business
  • Commitment to results

Preferred Skill Requirements:

  • Technical knowledge of electronic components
  • Knowledge of the electronic industry
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Analysis and problem solving
  • Ability to always maintain self-motivation and be consistently proactive
