Job Title: Security Officer
Location: Poole
Salary: £9.50 per hour
Job type: Permanent, Full time and Part-time
The Company is the UK’s largest privately owned security Company offering retail security solutions across the UK to a number of household names, including Boots, Tesco and Waitrose.
They are an SIA approved contractor with over 4,500 employees operating across the UK. The company has achieved the Investors in People award, whilst also gaining the Gold rating from the National Security Inspectorate.
Due to business expansion they are currently urgently looking for security officers. Although frontline SIA licence holders are preferred, they can offer full training and assistance with SIA licence application to the right people.
The Role
Once in store you will be responsible for:
- Acting as a visual deterrent
- Ensuring the safety of customers and colleagues within the working environment
- Patrolling the shop floor
- Liaising with police and report writing
The Candidate:
- Detailed knowledge of business applications used within Local Government.
- A valid SIA Licence is preferred however full training can be provided with assistance with SIA application
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service
