This is a great opportunity involving all aspects of full product life cycle, conception, development and design. This is an interesting role working with wide-ranging technologies in a variety of product sectors.
The ideal Candidate will have/ be:
Essential
- Developing firmware in embedded C
- Analogue and Digital electronic design
- Low power design
- IDE tools, in-circuit debuggers and emulators
- Hardware debugging using laboratory equipment such as scopes and multimeters
- The use of wireless communications (e.g. Bluetooth, WiFi, LPWAN, ISM etc.)
- Documentation including version control and testing
- Design for EMC
Desirable
- ARM Cortex M series Microcontroller
- Development tools such as IAR and GCC
- Communication technologies, RS232, RS485, USB, I2C, SPI, NFC
- Battery Powered Device development
- Git Version Control
