P C Jones Service Centres is based in Burnett Business Park in Bristol and are a family-owned business that have been operating since 1982 on a range of brands such as Karcher, Kranzle, Nilfisk and Numatic. We are one of the leading providers of service and maintenance of professional cleaning equipment in the South West of England and South Wales, our work covers a range of professional cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, steam cleaners, industrial vacuums and floor scrubber dryers. We were established 1982 and now have a strong team of manufacturer trained engineers. Due to an increase in business, we are pleased to offer an individual a chance to join our friendly, growing team.

The Position:

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Service Engineer to join our team in Bristol. Day to day you will be carrying out servicing and repairs on a range of cleaning equipment, attending to machine breakdowns either in the workshop or on-site.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Servicing and repairing a range of different cleaning equipment
  • Liaising directly with customers and your team members to schedule work
  • Keeping to our high standards for communication and quality of work
  • Complying with P C Jones and manufacturer standards when installing, servicing and repairing machines
  • Responsible for building customer relationships
  • No previous experience is required as full training will be provided however relevant experience is welcomed, along with any related interests

  • Eager and quick learner
  • Adopt a can-do attitude and a practical mind-set
  • Ability to adapt quickly and find solutions to problems
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Competent with modern technology and be adaptive
  • You will be an accountable individual that takes responsibility
  • Mechanical and/or engineering experience is preferable but not essential
  • A UK Driving licence is desirable as the successful candidate will be required to drive our company vans
